The Municipality of Alexandroupolis announces that the GranFondo Delta Alexandroupolis cycling tour has officially been added to the calendar of the World Cycling Federation (UCI). This is a special moment for our region, as the Municipality of Alexandroupolis undertakes for the first time the organization of this important international sporting event.<\/p>

<\/a>The event will take place on May 4, 2025, turning Alexandroupolis into a cycling hub for the Balkans and Europe. Hundreds of athletes are expected to arrive to live the unique Granfondo experience and get to know the natural beauty and culture of our region.<\/p>

The GranFondo Delta Alexandroupolis is not only a high-level race, but also a unique opportunity to promote Alexandroupolis as a leading international sports tourism destination.
